Courses
Degrees with foundation years
These degrees last four years (full-time)
You spend the foundation part of the degree developing core skills and acquiring key knowledge before moving on to specialist study during the rest of the degree.
Masters Degrees
A Masters degree is a postgraduate, Level 7 qualification - placing them above Bachelors degrees but below PhDs. Study is intense and typically involves completing a series of modules and writing a dissertation. In the UK, Masters degrees are worth 180 credits.
HND 2-year programmes
A HND is a two-year course, equivalent to the first two years of university and a level 5 qualification.
Degrees (3 years)
A bachelor’s degree is a common first degree. It gives you a thorough understanding of a subject. Bachelor’s degrees usually have a set programme of academic study, while some also incorporate practical elements and placements.There are different types of degrees, such as Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Education (BEd) and Bachelor of Engineering (BEng). If you complete your degree successfully with a grade of at least 50 per cent (referred to as a ‘third’ in the UK), you’ll be awarded with an ‘honours’ degree.

Student finance is available in the UK and will help you financially while studying. You can apply for:
